In order to apply you should have either:

• No formal prerequisites or specific qualifications are required for entry OR;
• Learner must be 16 years or older at the beginning of the course

1. Introduction to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD):

   • Understanding the characteristics and diagnosis of ASD
   • Overview of the autism spectrum and prevalence rates

2. Communication Strategies for Individuals with ASD:

   • Effective communication techniques and augmentative communication methods
   • Understanding sensory processing differences and their impact on communication

3. Person-Centered Care for Individuals with ASD:

   • Principles of person-centered planning and individualized support
   • Promoting independence and autonomy while providing appropriate support

4. Behavioral Management:

   • Understanding challenging behaviors in individuals with ASD
   • Strategies for behavior assessment, intervention, and positive behavior support

5. Educational Support and Inclusion:

   • Supporting individuals with ASD in educational settings
   • Collaborating with educators and implementing inclusive practices

6. Family Support and Advocacy:

   • Providing support and resources for families of individuals with ASD
   • Advocating for the rights and needs of individuals with ASD and their families

 

 

 

 

Assessment is via assignment submission

The fee for the programme is as follows:

• 6 Months - Accelerated mode @ GBP £1350
• 9 Months - Standard mode @ GBP £1050

The programme offers following fee payment plans:

6 Months programme
● Payment option (a): GBP £450 x 3 monthly instalments
● Payment option (b): GBP £1282.50 x 1 instalment (We offer 5% bursary on total fee for students opting to pay in full)

9 Months programme
● Payment option (c): GBP £210 x 5 monthly instalments
● Payment option (d): GBP £525 x 2 quarterly instalments
● Payment option (e): GBP £997.50 x 1 instalment (We offer 5% bursary on total fee for students opting to pay in full)

The qualification is delivered by London School of International Business (LSIB) and it is awarded by an Ofqual-regulated Awarding Body. All of the qualifications are listed on the Ofqual register.
