In order to apply you should have either:

• No formal prerequisites or specific qualifications are required for entry OR;
• Learner must be 16 years or older at the beginning of the course

1. Introduction to Health and Social Care:

   • Overview of the healthcare and social services sectors, roles, and responsibilities.

2. Communication Skills:

   • Developing effective communication techniques for interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.

3. Safeguarding and Welfare:

   • Understanding safeguarding procedures and promoting the welfare of vulnerable individuals.

4. Health and Safety:

   • Ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff, including health and safety regulations.

5. Person-Centered Care:

   • Providing holistic care tailored to individual needs and preferences.

6. Health Promotion:

   • Promoting health and well-being through education and preventive measures.

7. Anatomy and Physiology:

   • Understanding the structure and function of the human body.

8. Mental Health Awareness:

   • Recognizing common mental health conditions and supporting individuals in need.

9. Social Work Principles:

   • Learning principles and techniques of social work practice.

10. Work Placement:

    • Gaining practical experience through supervised work placements in healthcare and social services settings.

The fee for the programme is as follows:

• 6 months - Accelerated mode @ GBP £1250
• 9 months - Standard mode @ GBP £950

The programme offers following fee payment plans:

6 months programme
● Payment option (a): GBP £416 x 3 monthly instalments
● Payment option (b): GBP £1187.50 x 1 instalment (We offer 5% bursary on total fee for students opting to pay in full)

9 months programme
● Payment option (c): GBP £190 x 5 monthly instalments
● Payment option (d): GBP £475 x 2 quarterly instalments
● Payment option (e): GBP £902.50 x 1 instalment (We offer 5% bursary on total fee for students opting to pay in full)
